[Today🌾 05/17/2024 is Day 24, Week 4, and 3 (of the 7) weeks to Shavuot (Firstfruits)]
WHEN Peter the apostle was told to stop telling the gospel of Christ, he replied, “…We ought to obey God rather than men.” (Acts 5:29). Peter had witnessed Jesus' work and seen how they were transformed into powerful witnesses.
The apostles had seen the risen Christ, they knew the power of the Kingdom, and were
passionate about telling others this "good news".
Evangelism is sharing about what you’re passionate with. It’s quite easy to be passionate about great news--its power lies in spreading it! When you’re excited about a promotion or something special happening in your life, the natural urge is to share it--you don't just keep it. The Greek word for evangelism ('evangelion') means to announce the "good news" or glad tidings. This 'good news' is also salvation. The calling of everyone to be saved from this "perverse generation" (Acts 2:40).
The coming kingdom of God is extremely good news! Its power lies in living up to the teachings and commandments of Christ. The power to evangelize won’t put the passion within you. Knowing how to share your faith will bolster your confidence and that’s why you need to be flexing on it daily and constantly with God's Holy Spirit working in you!

"So when they had appointed him a day, many came to him at his lodging, to whom he explained and solemnly testified of the KINGDOM OF GOD, persuading them concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning till evening." --Acts 28:23
